Towards the end of the 2023/2024 season, a number of Kaizer Chiefs players were linked with a possible exit from the club, as the club is expected to have a third squad overhaul in as many seasons.

Keagan Dolly, George Matlou, Itumeleng Khune, Samkelo Zwane, Sabelo Radebe, Siyethemba Sithebe, and Njabulo Ngcobo are facing uncertain times at the club, as their futures are in the air at Naturena.

However, despite the uncertainty surrounding the players, the future of the latter is set to be decided.

According to multiple reports in the country, Ngcobo is set to partways with Amakhosi and join a fellow Dstv Premiership club, Sekhukhune United, after spending three seasons at Chiefs having joined the club from Moroka Swallows back in 2021.

Meanwhile, his teammate Efmamjjasond Gonzalez Palacios is set to leave the club after an unimpressive loan spell at the club having joined the club at the end of the recently ended season from Bolivian based club, Real Santa Cruz.

The Phefeni Glamour Boys went against making his loan spell permanent after a disappointing time at the club.

In the 454 minutes(13 games), the 25-year-old played for the club, the lanky striker registered zero goals and zero assists.

Meanwhile, the club is set to appoint former Young Africans SC head coach Nasreddine Nabi as the new head coach.

The two parties are said to have reached an agreement, with the tactician expected to bring his own coaching staff that will see the current coaching staff demoted or shown the exit doors.
