Four more Mamelodi Sundowns players leave the club, as the club continues to trim down their squad ahead of the new season.

Since joining the club midway last season, Sundowns head coach, Miguel Cardoso, has made it clear that he will trim down the club’s bloated squad.
The move has already seen eight players leave the club before yesterday, as the likes of Sipho Mbule, Rivaldo Coetzee, Lebohang Maboe, and Sfiso Ngobeni were shown the exit doors at Chloorkop.
However, despite close to 10 players leaving, the club has seen four more players leave the club during this window.
Kobamelo Kodisang
After a poor first season at Sundowns, which saw him play 13 games despite signing a five-year deal at the club, Kodisang has returned to Portugal.
He has joined AVS Futebol SAD on a season-long loan deal, which has an option to make the move permanent should the party involved agree.
Onele Rulwana and Thulani Zandamela
The two Sundowns development players are already training with the Motsepe Foundation Championship side, the University of Pretoria FC, who have already signed Luvuyo Phewa from Sundowns on a season-long loan deal.
They are expected to join the club on season long loan deals like Phewa, taking the number of player that have the club this window to 11.
Selwyn Stevens
Unlike his teammates who have secured their moves, Stevens is currently on trial at French Ligue 2 side AS Saint-Etienne.
The 17-year-old is currently training with the club’s reserve in the hope of impressing the coaching staff and eventually getting a deal that will only go through early next year should he pass his trials.
