Ex-Chiefs Star Sends A Message To Edmilson Dove

Former Kaizer Chiefs star striker sent a message to Edmilson Dove after the latter returned from a long-term injury against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Dove featured for the first time this season, yesterday during 1-0 defeat to Sundowns at the iconic Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium, having suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament(ACL) injury before that start of the season.

Former Chiefs striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyana, who played with the former Cape Town City FC defender during the season 2022-2023 at Naturena, took to Instagram to send a message to the returning defender.

The Burundian international shared how happy he was to see Dove back in the field of play and how he should remember that God is in control of his situation.

“Mon gars, (I) Am happy to see you enjoying football again,” Bimenyana stated.

“U was(You were) fantastic today, Edmilson Dove. God is in control, remember.”

The 30-year-old Mozambican international played the whole match upon his return to action, and he is expected to play a huge role for the club heading to the closing of the season.
