A Mamelodi Sundowns player is training with Kaizer Chiefs as he is looking to complete a move between the two arch-rivals.

With the 2025-2026 Betway Premiership season edging closer to starting, Amakhosi have upped their efforts to add a couple of players before the season starts.
One of the players that the club is looking to add is Sundowns player, Etiosa Ighodaro.
Chiefs appeared to have sealed a move for the 24-year-old before the pre-season tour to the Netherlands, as he was among the names the club applied visas for.
The club was seemingly ready to announce him after a video clip, and images of him in Chiefs colours were leaked, but his agent, Mohammed Lawal, denied the news and called the clip and images fake.
However, just over two weeks since denying his move Naturena, the Nigerian striker is training with the club, as they wrap up preparations for the new season.
Chiefs is expected to announce his signing in the next coming days, as well as the club is expected to officially announce the departure of Edson Castillo.
