Mamelodi Sundowns star attacker is set to join a European club ahead of the 2025-2026 season after a poor 2024-2025 season.

Having joined the Brazilians on a five-year deal ahead of the 2024-2025 Betway Premiership season from Portuguese top flight club, Moreirense, Kobamelo Kodisang, is set to return to Europe a season later.
The 25-year-old is among a host of players who are in Sundowns’ head coach Miguel Cardoso’s plans for next, having only featured 13 times for the Pretoria-based club.
With a return of two goals and two assits for the club last season, the South African international is poised to return to Portugal.
According to reports in Portugal, Kodisang is set to join Portuguese top division side AVS Futebol SAD with an option to make the move permanent should the club decide to.
Kodisang is expected to be followed by the likes of Siphelele Mkhulise, Keagan Johannes, Godspower Ighodaro, and Terrence Mashego out of the club before the start of the new season.
