Ahead of the current season, the Naturena-based club spent well over R50 million on players, bringing the likes Fiacre Ntwari, Rushwin Dortley, Inácio Miguel, and Bongani Sam to Naturena.

Their spending for the season went around R60 million in January this year after they brought in Glody Lilepo for a figure reported to be around R10 million.

Kaizer Chiefs To Increase Transfer Budget

“It’s believed that the club has already come up with budget for next season, and it’s believed to be R80 million,” Soccer Laduma stated.

“You know, last season, they started with R50 million, which they raised to R60 million in the January transfer window, and that means they are raising it by R20 million.

“It’s because they are looking at signing quality with most of the players that they are targeting.

“So their intentions are looking good with their new budget.”
