Kaizer Chiefs took a swipe at their arch-rivals Orlando Pirates fans ahead of their goalless draw with Cape Town City FC.

Ahead of their league match against the Citizens at FNB Stadium, Amakhosi shared were the fans, and those attending the match could get their hands on the ticket for the match via their social media platforms which includes Facebook.
Under the club’s post on Facebook, one of Orlando Pirates’ fan pages(Orlando pirates fans) commented by wishing Chiefs’ opponents on the day, luck for the match.

“Good luck, Cape Town City. We’re behind you. Please make us proud,” Orlando pirates fans’ reply read.
Chiefs’ admin didn’t like the reply and hit back at the Pirates fans’ page by stating that Pirates should hold on to the luck, as they are going to need it when they face Mamelodi Sundowns this upcoming weekend.
“Hey neighbour, mind if I hold on to this luck for Saturday(Sunday)? I know a team that could really use it. Thanks in advance,” Chiefs admin replied to the reply.
Amakhosi admin went on to apologise and delete the comment after realising that it was responding to a fan page, not Pirates.
“Wrong page, sorry,” Chiefs admin concluded.
Meanwhile, Chiefs were held to 0-0 draw by the Citizens, while Pirates will take on Sundowns at home on Saturday.
The match at FNB Stadium will kick off at 3h30 pm South African time.
