Morrocan giants Wydad Athletic Club is believed to be in talks to sign Mamelodi Sundowns star after the deal to sign Thembinkosi Lorch collapsed.

After an impressive loan stint in Morroco with Casablanca-based club, which also includes the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Lorch was poised to join the club on a permanent basis from Sundowns.
However, after weeks of talks between the two clubs, the move collapsed after Wydad AC felt the asking price from the Brazilians was a little bit steep.
With Lorch set to return to Chloorkop ahead of the upcoming season, the club from Morocco seems to have their sight on another Sundowns player according to multiple reports in the continent.
The reports state that Wydad is in advanced talks with both the player and the club to sign Bafana Bafana right fullback Khuliso Mudau.
Sailor, as he is known to South African football lovers, is believed to have put pen to paper on a two-year deal with an option to extend upon returning from FIFA Club World Cup.
This will make the deal difficult to pull through, as he is also seen as an important part of the dominant Sundowns team.
