“We can Still win the League” Khune
The longest PSL single club serving player Itumeleng Khune still believes kaizer Chiefs has what it takes to win the title.
The 36 years old goalkeeper has put a mark saying Kaizer Chiefs still got the possibility to climb the mountain.
“There’s nothing lost yet, you can’t believe those who are saying we have already lost it. If we can win all the remaining games then we have a chance of winning the title or finish as the second best. We could still qualify for CAF champions league of the confederation cup. There was a good year we won 20 consecutive games and we can still do it.
We are aware that we have 8 without winning anything and that has to come to an end,” Khune said
Kaizer Chiefs a big club that had a good reputation and it will take players to retain that. Taking a look at the new signings including Edson Castillo and Mthethwa, Chiefs is still good. The management has signed quality and enough players that could win the league or something solid. The last time Kaizer Chiefs lift a trophy was in 2014/15 and Khune believes that will come to an end this year.
Kaizer Chiefs still have tough games to play and not many of them guarantee 3 point’s. They have to fight and prepare for each and every game. Amakhosi are already looking forward beating Orlando Pirates tomorrow at FNB Stadium.
