Unhappy Kaizer Chiefs left fullback, Happy Mashiane is reportedly set to the club at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old versatile defender has struggled to make a breakthrough in the club’s first team since getting promoted back in 2019.
With the club set for another overhaul at the end of the current season, Mashiane is expected to be among the players that will leave the club according to our source near the club.

“Happy (Mashiane) has been unhappy for quite some time now due to limited opportunities to play at the club,” the source stated.
“He has been part of the first team since 2019, and he has failed to cement a regular start at the club, which has left him unhappy and willing to leave at the end of the season.”
The source further went on to report that Amakhosi hierarchy and head coach Nasreddine Nabi are currently looking to bring in two or three left backs, which will push him down the pecking order even further.
Stellenbosch FC fullback Fawaaz Basadien is among the players the club is targeting.
“(Nasreddine) Nabi has given the club’s management a list of players he would like to bring, especially in the leftback position,” the source added.
“Stellenbosch vice-captain Fawaaz Basadien is the name high on the list, and Chiefs is going to do what it takes to sign him.”
Mashiane is expected to be joined by the likes of Samkelo Radebe, Ranga Chivaviro, Bongani Sam, and Zitha Kwinika out of the club at the end of season.
