Kaizer Chiefs is reportedly set to sign two Orlando Pirates stars, as Amakhosi continues to rebuild under Nasreddine Nabi.

The futures of both Orlando Pirates stars Zakhele Lepasa, who last played for Pirates back in March 2024(last season), and Monnapule Saleng, who last played for club back in December last year, have been some of the highlights for the Soweto giants.
Multiple reports around the country and continent are linking the players away from the club with less than months of the season left.
Most of the reports linked them with a sensational move to Pirates’ arch-rivals, Amakhosi, who are believed to have landed one of the two players.

Pirates is believed to have missed the date(31st of December 2024) to exercise an option to extend Saleng’s contract, which led to the player reportedly signing a pre-contract with the Naturena-based club.
However, other reports report that Pirates have triggered the option to extend in time, which will see the 26-year-old hand in transfer request amid reported contractual issues at the club.
Meanwhile, Lepasa, who is about to go a year without playing a competitive match, has just returned to training after a long-term injury.
With competition from the likes of Evidence Makgopa and Tshegofatso Mabasa, Lepasa is reportedly likely to leave Pirates at the end of the season, and having previously being linked with Chiefs, he is likely to head that direction.
The possible transfer of players like Lepasa and Saleng will see the likes of Sabelo Radebe, Zitha Kwinika, Happy Mashiane, and Ranga Chivaviro likely leave the club.
