Orlando Pirates star attacker Thembinkosi Lorch learns his faith after months of waiting.
Thembinkosi Lorch Guilty Of Assault
The 30-year-old was found guilty for assault back in June 2023 for assaulting his then-girlfriend Fundiswa Mathithibala back in September 2020.

Sentencing Postponed
He was initially set to be sentenced back in July, but the Randburg Magistrate’s Court postponed his sentencing more than two times due to various reasons.

Sentencing Delivered
Lorch finally got a sentence today, as he was to three years in prison, but the sentence was suspended for five years, and should he commit any crime in the next five years, he will go to prison.
Fine Imposed On Thembinkosi Lorch
He was also fined R100 000, which will go to People Opposing Women Abuse(POWA), and half of it will be paid before the end of today and the remain R50 000 in R10 000 trenches in the next five months.
