Kaizer Chiefs central middlefielder Thabo Cele sends a message to the club’s fans after Nedbank Cup quarterfinal victory over Stellenbosch FC.

Cele is one Chiefs’ head coach Nasreddine Nabi trusted soldiers, as ever since he joined the club back in January this year alongside Glody Lolipo and Tashreeq Morris, he has missed one match due to suspension.
His performance was again one of the best performing players during the Nedbank Cup controversial quarterfinal victory over Stellies.
His performance on the night earned him man of the match award, which he used to thank the fans for the role they played in the victory.

“First and foremost, I want to give thanks to the most high for all of this, the supporters and the atmosphere and the energy they gave us,” Cele told SuperSport TV.
He went on to share the importance of the fans during the matches and how much they keep them focused and woke during matches.
“Without these people(fans), most of the moments we were down, but they kept us going. I am even losing my voice. I don’t have words.
He concluded by promising the fans to fight for them and achieve the much needed silverware for the club and fans.
“We want to fight more to achieve for the fans and for the club.”
Meanwhile, Amakhosi learned their opponents for the semi-finals, as they will take on either Mamelodi Sundowns or Sekhukhune United while the defending champions, Orlando Pirates will take on Marumo Gallants in the other semi-final.
The matches will be played on the 11th and 12th of April with the final set for later in the season.
