Kaizer Chiefs star middlefielder Thabo Cele opens up about his start to life at the Naturena-based club.

Cele joined Amakhosi back in January as a free agent after partways with Russian club Fakel Voronezh.
The 28-year-old has been one of the club’s standout players since joining the club and fitted to Nasreddine Nabi’s style of play which he said it’s because of the people and environment he finds at the club.

Speaking to the club’s Communications Manager, Vina Maphosa, Cele reveals that he found it easy to settle in because of the environment and the personnel at the club.
“Well, I have to say it’s also the environment, the people that I have found here,” Cele told the club’s Communications Manager Vina Maphosa.
“The teammates, the technical team, and also I think my heart has always been here.”
The South African international also mentioned that it has always been a dream to play for Chiefs, and he always knew that it was going to happen.
Also, he is at the club to try to achieve the objectives of the team and the club as a whole.
“I have been working for my own individual dreams, but at the same time, it’s something that was always gonna happen, for me to come here and I feel good that I am here,” Cele further added.
“I am here to try and help the team so that we can try and achieve our objectives as a team and achieve for the club.”
