Moroka Swallows attacker Gabadinho Mhango celebrates his goal against Cape Town Spurs at Dobsonville Stadium during the 2023/2023 Dstv Premiership season.

This has led to speculation that the club may be facing financial difficulties so early into the 2023/2024 season.

Mhango’s Response

Gabadinho Mhango, a former Orlando Pirates and Amazulu FC star attacker, has responded to the reports via Kick Off.

The Malawian international told Kick Off that he was surprised when he got to training and saw the news, as it is a lie, and he has never missed training.

While further saying that the attack may be directed to the club or himself, he urged the fans to continue supporting the club and shutting out noises from the outside.

The Way Forward

It is unclear what the future holds for Moroka Swallows, but the club will be hoping to put this issue behind them as soon as possible.
