The Mamelodi Sundowns transfer updates see one player in, 13 players out, and three plus heading for an exit, as the club continues to trim squad ahead of the new season.

Heading into the current transfer window, the Brazilians were expected to have a busy window, with the club’s head coach Miguel Cardoso looking to trim the club’s bloated squad.
13 Players That Have Left The Club
The club started the transfer window by parting ways with seven players, namely, Sanele Tshabalala, Thabang Sibanyoni, Sfiso Ngobeni, Lucas Suarez, Sipho Mbule, Rivaldo Coetzee, and Lebohang Maboe.
Quickly followed by sending Luvuyo Phewa, Onela Rulwana, and Thulani Zandamela out on season-long loans to the Motsepe Foundation Championship side, the University of Pretoria FC.
The trio were followed by the 17-year-old attacking middlefielder Selwyn Stevens, who is currently out on trials at the French Ligue 2 side AS Saint-Etienne.
Kobamelo Kodisan, who joined Portuguese top-flight side AVS Futebol SAD on a season-long loan deal with an option to make the move permanently, became the 12th player to leave the club this window.
He was quickly followed by Rushine De Reuck, who joined the Tanzanian side, Simba SC, on a one-year deal with an option for a further year.
Three-Plus Players Heading Out
With Neo Maema and Thapelo Maseko linked with Tanzanian giants, Young Africans SC, and Simba SC, the duo are expected to be among the players that will leave the club next.
Thembinkosi Lorch is also headed for an exit with North Africa, a possible destination, while the likes of Terrence Mashego, Keagan Johannes, and Siyabonga Mabena are expected to join local clubs.

With Sundowns not expected to make many signings, on Friday, the 25th of July made their first signing of the window.
Fawaaz Basadien joined from Stellenbosch FC on a three-year deal with an option for a further two years.
The 28-year-old defender will be joined by Aphelelo Teto from Livingston FC and Khulumani Ndamane from TS Galaxy.
