Mamelodi Sundowns is looking to hijack a move for another Kaizer Chiefs target.

Sundowns to hijack Chiefs's move for Mayele?
Young African star striker Fiston Kalala Mayele.

Mayele is a longtime target for Chiefs. He has come close to joining the club back in July 2022, but the move did not materialise.

But after a stellar season with Yanga, Chiefs is looking to sign the player again amid reports that he is a wanted man across the globe.

Amakhosi are competing with their arch-rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns.

Because the Dstv Premiership champions are also interested in the striker.

According to Farpost and Goal SA, the Brazillians sent scouts to watch Mayele during the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semifinal against Marumo Gallants.

Sundowns is said to have contacted the player but not officially, but the club is interested in the player.

The 28-year-old is currently in the market, and clubs have already submitted their official inquiries.

Masandawana is likely to follow and try again to hijack another Chiefs’ transfer target.

Because we have previously seen Chiefs leading the race for players to only see Sundowns win their signatures.

The last one is Ethiopian International Abubeker Nasir, who joined Sundowns despite being linked with Chiefs for months.
