Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club officially terminates the contract of Andile Jali a month before it expires.
Mamelodi Sundowns and Andile Jali’s agency, led by Mike Makaab, mutually terminated the contract between the club and the player.
Ending a five-year relationship that started back in 2018, when he joined Sundowns from K.V Oostende.
Signing a three-year deal on a free transfer after failing to agree to a deal with his former club, Orlando Pirates.
During his stay at Chlorkoop, Jali played 139 games, scoring 4 goals, providing 3 assits, and winning 8 trophies.
The 33-year-old leaves the club on a sour note after he was suspended earlier this year after arriving in training intoxicated.
However, the South African international was already headed for an exit.
Because the club was not going to renew his contract that was supposed to end on the 30th of June.
Jali is not short of suitors as clubs like Kaizer Chiefs, Amazulu, Stellenbosch FC, Pirates, and Cape Town City FC are interested in his services.
With the wealth of experience he has, he should not struggle to get a team to play for next season.
