Mamelodi Sundowns reportedly turns down an approach for Jayden Adams from a European club less than six months after the player joined the club.

Having only joined the Brazilians back in January this year from fellow Betway Premiership side, Stellenbosch FC, Adams has attracted the interest of La Liga club, Sevilla FC.

Soccer Laduma reports that multiple Europa League winners are interested in his signature, and Sundowns are not willing to listen to offers for the 23-year-old, as he is seen as the long-term replacement for Themba Zwane.
“He is a player they have been monitoring for some time now,” the publication states.
“You know Sevilla SC have scouts in Africa and those are the scouts who recommended him to the club in Spain and when the club looked at some of his videos it’s believed that they were impressed and that’s when the interest grew.
“Now they are enquiring about him. Sevilla SC are interested in Jayden Adams.
“Sundowns are trying to build the team around him with players like Themba Zwane nearing their retirement stages.
“It will be hard for Sundowns to let Adams go as soon as he joined the team.
“You know there is other interest in other experienced players as well.
“They apparently would rather let those go for now and keep Jayden. It won’t be easy to let him go.”
