Defending Betway Premiership champions, Mamelodi Sundowns receives a Thapelo Morena boost ahead of a clash against AmaZulu FC.
The Brazilians have been short in the right fullback position since the start of the season, as slight knocks to Zuko Mdunyelwa and Thapelo Morena and disappearance of Khuliso Mudau has seen the club play left fullback Fawaaz Basadien in the position.
However, at the back of a 1-1 draw against Chippa United this past weekend in the league opener, Miguel Cardoso’s side is likely to welcome back Morena.
After missing the two matches due to a minor knock as narrated by Cardoso, the South African international was spotted in the club’s training session at Loftus Versfeld on Monday.
Whether he will be back in the squad or he has just returned to training is yet to be known, but it will be revealed later today when Sundowns play Usuthu.
Sundowns will look to bounce back from a disappointing outcome when they face AmaZulu in Pretoria this evening.
The Arthur Zwane man will be looking to add to their 1-0 victory they achieved this past weekend when they beat the new comers, Orbit College FC, at home.
The match in Tshwane kicks off at 19h30 South African time.
