Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro reveals that he did not vote for Mamelodi Sundowns players in the PSL Footballer of the Season category.
Speaking on Thabiso Mosia’s Game On show on Radio2000 , Riveiro revealed that he didn’t nominate any Sundowns player on the list for PSL Footballer of the Season Award.
He further went on to say he would have voted for his star player Monnapuleng Saleng, as he has been brilliant this season.
But due to the law going against that, he couldn’t vote for him.

The Spaniard also refused to disclose his vote.
But feels Saleng deserved the award more than the eventual winner Tebogo Mokoena.
Saleng contributed 26 goal contributions in 30 games this season.
Winning two trophies and finishing second in the league.
While Mokoena won the league, he lost two semifinals and a quarterfinal in the three cup competitions he played in this past season.

Saleng walked away with two awards on the night(MTN8 Last Man Standing award and Dstv PremiershipPlayers’ Player of the Season).
Meanwhile, his coach edged the Dstv Premiership Coach of the Season Award by Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena.
