Black Poison is an ametuer club based in the heart of Soweto, Johannesburg.

It plays in the lower divisions of South African football.

The club is run and managed by Sundowns’ head coach Rhulani Mokwena.

He also lands his expertise in the club during the off-season.

He was spotted among the coaching staff during this year’s Dstv Kasi Tournament.

They finished second in the Shield Cup after losing in the final.

During the two-week tournament, one of the club’s senior players, Mkhululi Ncube, impressed with his displays.

His performances saw a host of clubs, both local and international, show interest in signing him ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

After weeks of clubs trying to lure him away from the Soweto based club, the lanky left footed attacker will play in Europe.

Ncube yesterday signed for Kosovo third division side Mitrovica Football Club.

He joins alongside a handful of South African players under agent Lebogang Mashishi.

Mashisi is opening the doors for South African players to test themselves in the eastern part of Europe.

Ncube is one of the many South African players Mashishi has lured to the eastern part of Europe.

His departure is a loss to Mokwena’s club that looked to him for leadership and goals during his time at the club.
