Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Lucas Suarez is reported to be set to join Liverpool FC less than a month after leaving the club.

Suarez spent the second of last season at Chloorkop having joined Sundowns on a six-month loan deal with an option to make the move permanent.
After a solid start to life in South African football, the 30-year-old had a difficult ending to his loan stint, which ultimately saw the Brazilians deciding against making the move permanent.
Having officially left Sundowns on the 1st of this month, Suarez is about to seal another loan move away from his parent club, CA Talleres, according to one of South Africans’ leading journalists, Austin Ditlhobolo.
The Goal SA journalist stated that the Argentinean international is poised to join former Uruguayan top division champions, Liverpool Fútbol Club.
The two sides are reported to have agreed on a season-long loan deal with an option to make the move permanent should Suarez impress.
Meanwhile, his countryman and former teammate, Matias Esquivel, is facing uncertain times at Sundowns, as he is expected to be among the next batch of players to leave the club.
So far, up to 13 players have already left the Betway Premiership champions since the transfer window opened earlier this month.
