Kaizer Chiefs reportedly offers one of the starlets who went with the club to the Netherlands for pre-season a lucrative long-term contract offer.

In the last few seasons, Amakhosi has handed a number of players from their development lucrative first team contracts.
The likes of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Bruce Bvuma, Mduduzi Shabalala, and Mfundo Vilakazi are some of the club’s first team players that the club has awarded lucrative long-term deals upon their promotions to the first team from mainly the reserve side.
According to Soccer Laduma, lightning is about to strike again, as the club has tabled a four-year offer to Thulani Mabaso after impressive outings during the 2024-2025 Dstv Diski Challenge and most recently in Netherlands during the pre-season camp.
The public also reports that the 20-year-old left-footed central middlefielder is seen as a long-term replacement of Edson Castillo, who recently parted ways with the club.
Mabaso will be competing against the likes of Thabo Cele, Ngcobo, Samkelo Zwane, Siphesihle Ndlovu, and Sibongiseni Mthethwa for a spot in the middle of the park for the Naturena-based club.
However, despite promises during this pre-season, Mabaso is likely to continue his development with the reserve team for at least a season before he can be given a proper run in the first team.
