Bernard Parker, the former Kaizer Chiefs star and current TS Galaxy player, has expressed his admiration for his coach Sead Ramovic and tipped him as a possible future coach for the Amakhosi.
Ramovic has what it takes
Parker, who is recovering from a leg injury that he sustained in a match against Mamelodi Sundowns, spoke highly of Ramovic’s abilities and credentials on the show Football Conversations.
“Coach Sead has got what it takes to coach any team in the country,” Parker said.
“And what I’m saying, any team in the country, I mean, the big three – the big three – Sundowns, Chiefs or Pirates definitely.”
Parker also suggested that Ramovic could be a good candidate for the national team, Bafana Bafana, and that he would take them to another level.
“Even further, how highly I rate coach Sead is that the national team, he will put the national team on another level.
“Meaning why I would say national team also on another level is that coach Sead, he believes in hard work.
“He believes in hard work, he believes in war, that every time you go on the field of play, it’s war.
“I believe he will make a big difference in the national team.”
Ramovic’s impact on TS Galaxy
Parker also credited Ramovic for instilling a strong mental mindset in the TS Galaxy players, which he said was crucial for success.
“What keeps us going there at TS Galay,, is because we’ve got a strong mental mindset, I would say.”
Parker added that he believed that Ramovic could also improve the mentality of the Chiefs players, who have been struggling to find their form in recent times.
“At Chiefs, I would believe at Chiefs the mental part is a big factor at the club.
“Not the quality, not anything else, the mental patt and Coach Sead is a big fan about the mentality.
“And what I’m saying, if coach Sead said we get the notch at Kaizer Chiefs, there will definitely be good things that will come out of there.”
