The club will appear in front of the PSL Disciplinary Committee (DC) on Tuesday, October 31, at 11:30 am.

The incident occurred on Saturday, October 21, at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, where Kaizer Chiefs hosted AmaZulu FC in the Carling Knockout round of 16 clash.

Chiefs suffered 1-0 defeat thanks to a late strike from Taariq Fielies.

The defeat angered some of the Chiefs fans, who started throwing missiles at the team’s bench and the pitch.

The main target of their frustration was the head coach Molefi Ntseki.

PSL: Consequences

The PSL issued a statement on Monday, October 23, condemning the violence and confirming that Chiefs will face charges of spectator misconduct.

PSL announced that they have found Chiefs guilty and they will learn their faith on the 30th of October at 11h30 am.

Chiefs could face a hefty fine or a stadium ban if found guilty by the PSL DC.
