Kaizer Chiefs Football Club needs to fill these four positions to be competitive next season.
After another poor season, Kaizer Chiefs is set to have a second squad overhaul in as many seasons.
The club has already secured the signatures of Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and Mduduzi Mdantshane and are expected to announce Given Msimango as well once the transfer window opens in July.
However, despite all these players coming in, the club still lacks quality in four positions, and they need to fill them.
GOALKEEPER
Ever since the aging Itumeleng Khune’s performance has dropped , the club has struggled in this department.
The club needs a goalkeeper who will be consistent in goals, unlike the duo of Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma.

DEFENSIVE MIDDLEFIELDER
The controversial sale of Njabulo Blom left a hole in the middle of the park for Chiefs.
A hole that the club is struggling to fill despite trying a host of players like Zwane, Yusuf Maart, and Siyethemba Sithebe.
An out and out central middlefielder like Andile Jali or Sibongiseni Mthethwa is needed.
ATTACKING MIDDLEFIELDER
Despite bringing in Mdantshane, the club still looks thin in that position.
As the likes of Mduduzi Shabalala, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, and Samkelo Zwane have all struggled to produce regularly.
A player like Thulani Serero or Junior Mendieta would solve the problem in the number 10 role.

STRIKER
After struggles Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana and co-strikers had in front of goals, the club needs a new striker.
Ranga Chivaviro and Fiston Kalala Mayele are two men who could solve the goals mystery at the club.
Whether the club can fill these positions ahead of next season or not, it still remains to be seen.
