Orlando Pirates hierarchy is yet to suspend their star attacker Thembinkosi_Lorch after he was found guilty of assault.
The club on Wednesday released a statement regarding the Lorch issue.
The statement stated that they will not take any action against the player until they have done their investigations into the matter.
Lorch was found guilty this past Tuesday by the Randburg Magistrate Court for assaulting his then girlfriend Fundiswa Mathithibala.
The incident took place back in September 2020, and he will learn his sentencing on the 28th of July 2023.

Despite the club distancing itself from the issue, it came as a surprise to see the club not suspending the player.
Pirates suspended Ben Motshwari in September 2020 and Nkanyiso Zungu in March 2022 after they were found guilty of the same charge.
However, the club insisted that they are against any form of abuse against women and children.
While they continue to build towards the new season, which start later this year.
Where they will be competing i the CAF Champions League.
Whether Lorch will be a part of the team or not, it will be known soon.
