Orlando Pirates star striker Tshegofatso Mabasa joins Real Madrid star Antonio Rüdiger and FC Barcelona stars Marc Casadó and Fermín López.

Yesterday, Mabasa was announced as the latest South African footballer after the likes of Happy Mashiane and Ntando Nkosi to join the American sportswear brand Under Armour.
The 28-year-old expressed his excitement of joining the brand and how he wishes to use it to give back to his community.

“To be a part of this brand, it means a lot to me, and it actually shows where my career has begun and where it’s going,” Mabasa said during endorsement deal announcement.
“This is a step in the right direction for me, for my career, wanting to help to build the brand, making it even bigger than it actually is, especially in football aspect of things in the country.
“Hopefully, I can play my part in doing that, and that is through performing in this wonderful gear that I will be wearing.
“It is my role and responsibility as a professional athlete in the country to try and motivate the generation,” he added.
“And hopefully, with the backing of Under Armour, I will be able to do that.”
Mabasa joins some of the biggest names in the game in the brand, which includes Rüdiger of Real Madrid and Casadó and Fermín López of FC Barcelona.
