Orlando Pirates Football Club is looking to sign Veli Mothwa after Amazulu FC went against renewing his contract.
According to The Citizen, Mothwa will join Orlando Pirates when his contract with Amazulu expires at the end of the month.
The shot-stopper is among 11 players expected to leave Usuthu later this month after the club decided to have a squad overhaul.
Amazulu’s president, Sandile Zungu, confirmed the news earlier this week.
Some of the stars that are set to leave are Dumisani Zuma, Thabo Qalinge, and Gabadhino Mhango.

Phakhaaati sources hint that Mothwa is very likely to replace Siyabonga Mpontshane at the Soweto based club.
After the Buccaneers asked about his availability, having been linked with the player in the past before.
However, Pirates faces a challenge from Sekhukhune United for the services of the lanky shot-stopper.
Should the 32-year-old sign for Pirates, he will face competition from Sipho Chaine, Melusi Buthelezi, and Richard Ofori for the number spot.
But at this point, it is very unlikely that he will join the Mayfair based club.
Meanwhile, Pirates is also set to have a big winter transfer market.
To prepare for the CAF Champions League next season.
