Relebohile Mofokeng is a young footballer who plays for Orlando Pirates, one of the most successful clubs in South Africa.
Mofokeng impressed everyone with his skills and performance in the Dstv Diski Challenge, the reserve league for the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
He scored 12 goals and assisted 8 in 15 matches, earning him a promotion to the first team in less than a year.
A champion at 18
Mofokeng continued to shine in the first team, helping Pirates to retain their MTN8 title, a prestigious cup competition for the top eight teams in the PSL.
A trial in England
Mofokeng’s talent did not go unnoticed by foreign clubs, as he received an invitation to trial with Wolverhampton Wanderers, a Premier League club in England.
He flew to England last week and has been training with the Wolves’ under-23 squad.
He hopes to impress the coaches and earn a contract with the club.
