Orlando Pirates star striker Terrence Dzukamanja is battling for the ball with Cape Town City FC defender Lorenzo Gordinho.

The Zimbabwean international’s change of fortune at Pirates came when the club hired striker coach Scott Chickelday back in January this year.

He has since scored 8 goals and provided 2 assits in 19 games ever since the turn of the year.

His form is guaranting to him a new deal at the club as his current expires next month.

According to his agent Mike Makaab, the two parties are set to open talks in the coming weeks.

A huge turnaround from where they were two earlier this year, as they were preparing for the player’s life away from the club.

The super agent also revealed that he will meet with Pirates’ chairman Dr Irvin Khoza to discuss the life of his players at the club.

The 29-year-old striker is certain to stay at Pirates, who could exercise the one year extension option in his contract.

Former now-defunct Bidvest Wits striker recently scored the winner for Pirates in the final of the Nedbank Cup.

As the Buccaneers edged game Sekhukhune United 2-1 to lift their second trophy of the season.
