Orlando Pirates among four PSL sides in a race to sign Marumo Gallants attacker Katlego Otladisa after his side got relegated.
The Buccaneers are facing a challenge from Amazulu FC, Royal AM FC, and Sekhukhune United for the signature of the 26-year-old.
Otladisa has been on the radar of Pirates ever since joining Gallants back in 2021.
His performances for the Limpopo based club showed why he was regarded as the best young player in the country during his time at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Gallants’ relegation opened doors to Pirates to increase their interest in the player.
But Usuthu, Royal AM, and Sekhukhune are hot on their heels.
Despite the competition from other clubs, Pirates are the favourite to land the South African youth international.
According to the UNPLAYABLE ZA source, Otladica will decide the winner of the race in a week’s time.
The skillful attacker is contracted to Gallants until the end of the 2023/2024 season.
But will likely leave the club this upcoming winter transfer.
While Gallants continue to rebuild their squad for next season.
The likes of Lucky Mohomi, Lesiba Nku, Ranga Chivaviro, and Washington Arubi left the club after relegation.
