Orlando Pirates secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Royal AM at the Rand Stadium on Saturday, thanks to a second-half strike from Senzelumusa Sibiya.
The youngster scored his first goal of the season.
The win took the Sea Robbers to 20 points from nine games, equal with second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns, who have a game in hand.
Chiefs Held By Richards Bay
Kaizer Chiefs failed to capitalise on Pirates’ win as they were held to a goalless draw by Richards Bay at the Dobsonville Stadium on Saturday.
The hosts dominated possession and created several chances, but could not find a way past the resilient visitors.
