Parker Exposed How Chiefs Got Rid Of Him
The longest serving striker at Chiefs revealed how the club got rid of him at his contract end.
The 37 years old Kaizer Chiefs former striker has revealed how Chiefs management dashed him. After being loyal to the club for eleven year, Parker was left with no choice but to look for another club. This was because Amakhosi couldn’t renew or give him another different role within the club.
“I was done wrong at Kaizer Chiefs. I was told to go on holidays and then come back and tell them what I want to do.
But I never heard anything back from them. That’s when I decided to make certain decisions because I have a family to look after.”
Even players that left the say way from the club were amused when he told them what happened. Many players thought he was going to be given a different role within Chiefs. However, they never as gave him anything except good-byes.
“Even I was surprised how things ended at Chiefs but I have acknowledged that I was done wrong. But I moved on,” Says Parker with Andile

Bernard Parker appeared for 283 games with Chiefs and scored 49 goals for them. He once became their top goal scorer after Siyabonga Nomvete. Ever since his departure from the club, Chiefs has been struggling to find a decent striker. They attempted to sign Bonfils Caleb but he never delivered and he was released. They recently signed Gonzalez and he too could be released soon. They also have Chivaviro who has only scored one goal as he is struggling to find himself too.
