Orlando Pirates is set to promote Ex-Mamelodi Sundowns starlet Neo Mokoena to the club’s first team after impressive displays in the reserve team.

The attacker was surprisingly among a host of young players the Brazilians released at the end of last season despite being one of the club’s best players alongside the likes of Kutlwano Letlhaku and Siyabonga Mabena.
Upon his release from Sundowns, Mokoena joined Sundowns’ arch-rivals Pirates and quickly became one of the club’s best players in the reserve league alongside Mbekezeli Mbokazi who has since made his debut for the senior team.
