Orlando Pirates targets another Baroka FC rising star after stepping their pursuit for supposed Monnapule Saleng’s replacement Kabelo Kgositsile.

Earlier this week, the Sea Robbers were announced to have been in advanced talk to sign Bakgaga’s starlet Kabelo Kgositsile after he impressed during the club’s Nedbank Cup Round of 16 clash at Orlando Stadium last month.
With Kgositsile expected to replace Monnapule Saleng, who is expected to leave the club at the end of the season due to contractual issues, Pirates is believed to be targeting another Baroka player according to FarPost.

According to the publication, Pirates also enquired about the availability of the versatile defender Tshepho Mashiloane when they went in for Kgositsile.
Mashiloane, who can play both as a right fullback and central defender is a crucial player for the Limpopo-based club, as he was one of the standout players who helped the club to reach PSL play-offs last season.
His versatility will come in handy for the Buccaneers should they sign him, as the club has struggled in both right back and central defence this season due to injuries and loss of form.
Meanwhile, Mashiloane and Kgositsile continue to fight to return Baroka back to the top tier of South African football, as they are currently in the race to earn playoffs spot if not winning promotion outright.
