The Buccaneers are one of the busiest clubs in the current transfer window market, having made several transfers this window.

Preparing for the five competitions they will be playing in this season, Orlando Pirates has signed around ten players to prepare for the challenges this season.
The majority of the signings were the attacking players, as the club invested heavily in defence before the start of last season.
However, the Soweto giants added another defender to their ranks despite having several options in the team.

With the Dstv Diski Challange(DDC) just a few weeks from starting, Pirates has beefed up their squad.
The Houghton based giants have added another promising youngster to their team ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
According to Football Stage, Pirates has signed a young defender from Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal by the name Mbekezile Mbokazi.
The youngster who is nicknamed “Mbazo” after South African senior national team captain, Aaron Mokoena, is said to have the potential to become a top player for the club one day.
He will hope to walk the same route some of the club’s top development graduates are walking at the moment.
In the last four or five seasons, the club’s development has produced few top players who are currently top players in the country.

Thabiso Monyane, Boitumelo Radiopane, and most recently, Relebohile Mofokeng are just some of the players the club has produced.
Whether he will live up to his nickname and become a top star remains to be seen, but he is tipped for a good career.
