Orlando Pirates is understood to have made a decision regarding the future of versatile middlefielder Karim Kimvuidi ahead of the 2025-2026 season.
Having added the likes of Sihle Ntuli, Sipho Mbule, Masindi Nemtajela, and Sinoxolo Kwayiba, the Buccaneers are expected to show a number of players the exit doors despite having already parted ways with five players.
One of the players that the club is expected to be without next season is former now Durban City FC middlefielder, Kimvuidi.
The 23-year-old Democratic Republic of Congo international has struggled to cement his place in the team since joining the club ahead of the 2023-2024 season from the then Maritzburg United.
He is expected to join his teammate Gilberto out on loan after the latter agreed to remain in Angola with Petro De Luanda after initially re-joining the club on a six months loan back in January.
Meanwhile, it remains unclear whether the player will travel with his Pirates teammates for pre-season in Spain in the coming days, or he will remain behind to finalise his loan move away from the Soweto giants.
A multiple of South African top tier sides are said to be interested in his signature.
