One of Orlando Pirates Football Club senior team coaches is reportedly set to join Premier Soccer League(PSL) rivals ahead of next season.
Heading into the 2022/2023 season, Orlando Pirates hierarchy replaced the duo of Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids as the club’s co-head coaches by the Spanish tactician Jose Riveiro.

Davids was shown the exit door after the expiration of his contract.
Meanwhile, Ncikazi was demoted to being one of Riveiro’s assistants.
After a successful 22/23 season, the club is reported to be close to losing Ncikazi as well.
WHERE IS NCIKAZI HEADING TO!
Former Golden Arrows coach is reportedly set to join another KwaZulu-Natal based club, Richards Bay, as their head coach.
He is said to have to have agreed on a personal deal with the club.
What is left is for the club to iron out a few issues and announce him as their new coach.
He replaces Vasili Manousakis, who was fired at the end of the past season due to poor form last season.
NCIKAZI’S TIME AT ORLANDO PIRATES!
Ncikazi was initially one of the then Pirates’ head coach Josef Zinnbauer’s assistants alongside Davids.
But after the German mastermind decided to partways with the club before the start of the 2021/2022 season.
Ncikazi and Davids were given the hotseat until the end of the season.
Inconsistent results and poor form led to club replacing the duo with Riveiro at the end of the season.
Ncikazi was demoted back to being an assistant coach while Davids was shown the exit door.

Riveiro won two trophies in his maiden season at the club and also finished second in the Dstv Premiership behind Mamelodi Sundowns.
But Ncikazi is likely not to be part of his technical team next season, as he is set to join Richards Bay.
The club is expected to announce him in the next coming days.
