Stellenbosch star striker Iqraam Rayners celebrates after scoring against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Rayners enjoyed the second part of the recently ended season after moving from Supersport United to Stellenbosch.

He managed to score 9 goals in 10 league games he played for the Stellies since rejoining the club back in January.

His form has earned him a national team call-up and interests from the big 3 of South African football.

However, the attacker has rubbish the rumours linking him with a move back to Gauteng.

Speaking to Sowetan Live, Rayners says he doesn’t know anything about joining Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, or Orlando Pirates.

It is just rumours, and he has never heard anything from the three clubs. It is just media being media.

However, the Gauteng giants may still come for the speedy attacker as the winter transfer window is still yet to open.

His form for Stellies will certainly see one of the big 3 clubs inquire about his services.

As it can’t be ignored or looked over because of what it has done for the Stellies in less than six months.

Where he will be playing next season is everyone’s guess at the momen.

But will be known in the next coming few months.
