Kaizer Chiefs go after the services of NFD star Ranga Chivaviro after having a stellar season.
The attacker’s form in the recently ended season, see Chiefs go for his services to bolster their attack.
Chivaviro is currently contracted with Marumo Gallants, who are set to play in the NFD next season.
He signed a one-year contract with an option for a further season at the beginning of the 2022/2023 season.
Gallants have since exercised their option to extend the striker’s contract by a further year.
However, Chiefs management contacting Chivaviro’s team has changed things.
The two parties are set to meet next week according to Farpost to discuss a potential transfer.
His 17 goals tally in all competitions see him as the perfect replacement for the outgoing striker, Caleb Bimenyimana.
Chiefs face competition from Yanga, Zamalek, Pyramids, and Azam for the signature of the deadly attacker.
Amakhosi are likely to get their man because the 30-year-old will not want to play in the NFD.
Meanwhile, the pursuit of the striker seals Bimenyimana’s faith at the Naturena based club.
The Burundian International will most likely leave the club in the upcoming transfer window.
