Nabi brought four technical team members, namely, Khalil Ben Youssef(first assistant), Fernando Da Cruz(second assistant), Ilyes Mzoughi(goalkeeper coach), and Majdi Safi(strengthen and conditioning coach).

Having met up with his players in Instabul, Turkey, for pre-season, Nabi is said to have already turned and transformed the club’s squad ahead of the new season, according to African football journalist, Micky Jnr.

“Nabi has really transformed this Kaizer Chiefs side. Interesting stuff I am hearing. No wonder they have been quiet and doing things behind the scenes. Can’t wait for the start of the season,” Micky Jnr stated on X.

This comes at the back of 5-2 victory over Al Shahaniya this past Saturday with striker Ranga Chivaviro netting four goals, while the young Mfundo Vilakazi wrapped the victory.

The Naturena-based club will next travel back to South Africa today or tomorrow to prepare for the Inaugural Toyota Cup pre-season match against Young Africans SC this upcoming Sunday.

The match at the Toyota Stadium will provide the club’s faithful to see Nabi’s side in action for the first time and also the club’s new jerseys.
