Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine explains why he decided to substitute attacker Pule Mmodi early in the match against SuperSport United.

The substitution failed to bring changes to the match as the rampant SuperSport side went on to win 4-1 with Gaston Sirino receiving a red card after two yellow cards in a space of 11 minutes.
During the post-match interview, Nabi revealed that the reason to sub Mmodi was not a technical decision but rather the player was tired.
“It was not necessarily a tactical change. I noticed most of the players were not in the game,” Nabi stated.
“If I had a chance to substitute six or seven players, I could have done it.
“I could see Mmodi had given a lot into the game in the previous game.
“Today, already in the early minutes, I could see he was not in the game. He was tired.”
Meanwhile, Nabi’s men are set to have sufficient time to rest before their next encounter, as they are expected to next be in action on the first of March against Mamelodi Sundowns, as their next schedule fixture against Royal AM us expected to be postponed.
