Gift Motupa is a South African footballer who plays as a forward for Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
He joined Sundowns in 2020 after his former club Bidvest Wits was sold to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM).
He signed a five-year contract with Sundowns, but he has struggled to get regular game time at the club.
Transfer rumours
According to UnplayableZA, Motupa is set to leave Sundowns in the January transfer window.
He has been linked with a move to Stellenbosch FC, who have been looking at him for while.
Another club that is reportedly keen to sign Motupa is Chippa United, the club that he has joined in the past but never played a single game for them.

Future prospects
Motupa has not featured for Sundowns this season, despite extending his stay at the club for another season before the start of the current campaign.
He faces stiff competition from the likes of Peter Shalulile, Gaston Sirino, and Themba Zwane for a place in the Sundowns attack.
