In what is their last leg of the 2023/2024 pre-season, Sundowns began the leg with a clash against Gent.

The Brazilians started the match on the frontfoot, as they took the lead in the fourth minute.

MOTHOBI MVALA’S RED CARD!

Sundowns’ wastefulness in attack and woeful defence on the day continued even after making a host of changes.

To sum up a day of misfortunes, their versatile defender, Mothobi Mvala , got sent off for two bookable offences.

The South African international came on late in the second half and received two yellow cards, which led to his dismissal.

Dstv Premiership champions will next be in action this upcoming Sunday, the 23rd of July against Edrevisie side, Go Ahead Eagles.
