Ahead of a league opener against Kaizer Chiefs, Chippa United head coach Morgan Mammila made a bold claim to his counterparts, Molefi Ntseki.

Replacing Lehlohonolo Seema, who was brought in to replace Mammila and saved the club from relegation.
Speaking at 2023/2024 Dstv Premiership season launch at Multichoice City in Randburg yesterday, Mammila promised a repeat of his last two encounters against Chiefs.

“They[Chiefs] are a big team in Africa, and we can’t run away from that fact,” Mammila said.
“But we played with them last season when I was head coach at Chippa, and we beat them 2-1.
“I then went to Swallows, and we also beat them 2-1.
“For me, one thing we will have to keep in mind is that they are a different team.
“New sponsor[Kappa], new players, and I must go back and look where I can hurt them again.
“The bottom line is that Morgan Mammila two and Kaizer Chiefs zero,” he concluded.
IN OTHER NEWS: Kaizer Chiefs Set To Sign Another Player
The two sides will battle each other at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, on Sunday, the 6th of August.
The kick-off of the match is set for 3 pm Central African Time and will be broadcast live in Dstv Channel 202(Supersport PSL).
