After another disappointing season under his former teammate, Arthur Zwane, ex-Chiefs goalkeeper Brian Baloyi feels more than 50% of the club’s squad is not Kaizer Chiefs material.

Baloyi shared his thoughts with Newzroom Afrika on what the club needs to do to return glory days.

The club’s trophyless run continues, despite reaching two semifinals and finishing fifth in the Dstv Premiership.

After a massive clearout heading to the 2022/2023 season, Amakhosi was expected to compete for trophies.

But the club’s inability to sign quality players exposed them towards the end of the season.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper feels that even if the club could fire Zwane, they won’t compete.

Due to the lack of quality they have in the club’s current squad.
