Orlando Pirates star attacker Monnapule Saleng gets a national team re-call despite uncertainty surrounding his future.

On Friday evening, Bafana Bafana assistant coach Helman Mkhalele named a 22-men national team’s squad to face Egypt in Chan Qualifiers.

Among the players that Mkhalele selected is Pirates star attacker Saleng, who is currently facing uncertainty in his career at Pirates.
The 26-year-old last featured for the Sea Robbers back in December, which has left questions surrounding his career and when he will return to the field of play.
Other noticeable names in the squad are Jody February, Terrence Mashego, Kutlwano Letlhaku, and Neo Maema of Mamelodi Sundowns, Bongani Sam and Aden McCarthy of Kaizer Chiefs, and Sphamandla Gumede and Yanga Madiba of Orlando Pirates.

Meanwhile, the Egyptians have decided to use under-23s to participate in the qualifiers.
The first leg of the tie will be played in South Africa on the 28th of this month, with the return leg set to be played in Egypt on the 9th of March.
