Ntseki was brought in to replace club legend Arthur Zwane after a disappointing 2023/2024 season under the latter.

Demoting Zwane back to his old position as an assistant coach alongside Dillion Sheppard ahead of the new season.

The club backed Ntseki’s appointment with eight new signings and will likely add a few more before the season starts.

However, his start to life at the club has been shaky and not convincing.

The club’s performance against Young Africans in Tanzania and Township Rollers in Botswana this past two weeks suggests the club is still standing still.

Amakhosi suffered two one-nil defeats to end their pre-season with two bback-to-backback defeats to put pressure on Ntseki.

Heading into their 2023/2023 league opener against Chippa United, Ntseki is under pressure to get his team to perform.

The club’s performance under Ntseki has not been up to standard, as it leaves much to be desired.

Chiefs host the Chili Boys at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, this upcoming Sunday.
